HD108 4wire 16bit 65536 Addressable LED controller PixLite A4-S Mk3 APA102 65536

Powerful operational functionality and advanced management platforms drive up to 6 universes of data – or up to 1020 RGB powered pixels – on each of its 4 outputs.

Truly a class leader, these features provide incredible, scalable value for your lighting project. Put simply, compared to similar products in its class – you need fewer Advatek controllers to control the same number of pixels, producing a low cost per pixel output, an unrivalled cost per universe, and the highest value per controllable pixel.

With sleek, compact design, easy mounting options and electrical fault protection on all inputs and outputs, it’s ideally suited to commercial and industrial applications.

With high output capacity, comprehensive feature set, intuitive management software and product warranty, the PixLite® A4-S Mk3 is the best choice for your pixel lighting application.

Pixels look better on a PixLite® Mk3

All PixLite® Mk3 products are equipped with our brand new Mk3 Processor. This state-of-the-art processor uses sophisticated 3rd generation firmware to create the world’s most amazing lighting displays including:

  • Gamma correction for pixels of all resolutions – Dimming curves can be adjusted to better match the human eye, and it’s no longer limited to pixels above 8 bits. So regardless of which pixels are used, they will appear smoother with the PixLite® Mk3.
  • Extremely fast refresh rates – The Mk3 processor can now deal with refresh rates in the order of hundreds of frames per second, allowing fast and dynamic effects that can be displayed with higher reliability. Advanced processing features such as dithering can also be achieved.
  • Dithering – When working with extremely fast refresh rates you can artificially generate higher resolution pixel control with the new Mk3 processor – making gamma correction more effective on 8-bit pixels, so even low-resolution pixels can appear to be higher in resolution when dithering with a PixLite® Mk3.
  • Auto-synchronisation to data source – With auto-synchronisation the outgoing frame rate will dynamically adjust to the incoming frame, even without an external synchronisation source. This reduces the chance of out-of-sync pixel systems and tearing when an external source is not available.

Power it up!

Managing power distribution to LEDs has never been easier, or so advanced! The PixLite® brings the most premium features to your pixel system, including:

  • Electronic fuse control and monitoring on pixel outputs with auto-recovery – With the introduction of smart electronic fuses on our A-series controllers, our new Mk3 processor is able to recognize an electronic trip and will attempt to automatically re-enable power output to the device – this means you won’t have to physically replace a fuse when tripped.
  • In-built thermal performance with solid aluminium base – Use any input voltage between 5-24V, without worrying about heat build-up and external cooling solutions, there’s one built-in.
  • Current measuring – Allows monitoring of current per pixel output and the status of each fuse.

Network control

At its core, the controller converts streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net and DMX512 protocols from lighting consoles, media servers or computer lighting software to your choice of over 50 pixel protocols to drive pixel LEDs – up to 4080 of them! With configuration via web browser and management with Advatek Assistant 3 (coming soon!), the A4-S is an easily programmable solution.

Advatek PixLite® controllers are compatible with industry standard solutions and latest Art-Net and sACN protocols for optimum programming and control, including the following – Madrix, Pharos, MadMapper, GreenHippo, ArKaos, Resolume, Chromateq, Obsidian, Disguise – and so many more!

Browse supported pixel protocols here.

Dual gigabit Ethernet ports featured on the controller also allow you to simplify your network by daisy-chaining an unlimited amount of PixLite® controllers together from the one network source.

A universe data hardware firewall filters out any irrelevant data so that the processor can perform at its peak – reducing latency and increasing overall efficiency from the device.

Certifications & Warranty

Advatek’s Mk3 family of pixel controllers are tested and certified for professional and commercial applications. Wherever your project is, you can confidently deploy an Advatek pixel solution with class-leading value, performance and features.

Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your system is tested to the highest standards of quality and design, is protected electrically, won’t interfere with other building management and control systems or affect other sensitive RF, network and communications infrastructure.

Pixel processing flexibility

Optional expanded mode gives the user twice as many digital outputs for faster refresh rates and greater flexibility when working with data-only pixels.

Freely alter clocked pixel types with adjustable speeds. A function that allows you to optimise refresh rate with data cable performance.

Pixel mapping options are available on every output. This means the way pixels appear can be controlled. Create zig-zag patterns, change the colour order, group pixels together or reverse them, utilise null pixels or limit their brightness – there are so many customisable options!

Mounting options

The PixLite® A4-S Mk3 can be mounted directly to a surface using the 4 mounting holes located on the device, or via the DIN rail mount kit accessory.
