We used 350m HD108 LED strip to make a display, it run perfectly with more complete colors. Quality construction with the IP67 silicone tube too. Will definitely buy again.

I made a test for 1M 144LEDs HD108 led strip,

As a conclusion : – HD108 led strip are much brighter than APA102 – each output channel can output 16-bit (65536 Level) – SPI clock is really working up to 26MHz (max rating in the specification is 40MHz) – I did achieve a full frame refresh rate of 400Hz (144 leds fully refreshed in real time 400 times per second)

So it is a really impressive chip !

Nice product, HD108 LED strip, 16-bit (65536 Level) high gray-scale, much better than APA102-65536 leds, cool…

I heard it is Newstar’s IC, really reliable.
